The Interdisciplinary Discourse of Knowledge18/05/200913:56:37
Interdisciplinarity is a new epistemological structure which enjoys its own linguistic characteristics and emanates from internal relations among elements of an epistemological system, theoretical structures and social rules of the new discourse of knowledge. In other words, interdisciplinarity results from complexities of issues, multifaceted nature of topics, non-linear relations and complex relationship among phenomena which it should explain and understand through combination of knowledge, concepts, methods, tools and different disciplinary and scientific outlooks. A special ceremony to honor renowned professor of Persian and Islamic Studies, Hamid Algar who won the top prize at the Second Farabi International Festival was held Wednesday in the presence of scholars and enthusiasts in humanities at the Ministry of Science’s Institute of Cultural and Social Studies.

The ceremony held with the help of the Farabi International Festival, distinguished professors of social sciences and humanities delivered speeches on the works and services of Algar.
